We have just finished our third pastoral conference, two at The Upper Room and one at Mercy House. \u00a0The teachings were about the “call of a pastor” and the responsibilities of a pastor. \u00a0We are so grateful for Pastor Kelley from Cornerstone Chapel in Virginia and Pastor Brian from Calvary Chapel, Franklin, Tennessee who shared their experiences, knowledge and hearts with Guatemalan pastors.<\/p>\n

Most of the Mayan pastors have never had the opportunity to experience this kind of teaching. \u00a0It has caused them to hunger for more! \u00a0They want to understand the Bible, how to study it and how to preach it!<\/p>\n

It takes a team to put on a conference. \u00a0We have a talented group of men and women that serve at Servants 4 Him. \u00a0Let me tell you about them:<\/p>\n

Forrest Kendall<\/strong> does much of the teaching, although in these last conferences we were blessed to have guest speakers. \u00a0\"MH<\/a><\/p>\n

Juan Aguilar<\/strong> is the primary teacher for Mercy House. \u00a0He and his wife, Celestina<\/strong>, run Mercy House.<\/p>\n

Barry Staley<\/strong> is in charge of The Upper Room, filming, and electronics. \u00a0Barry, along with his wife, Marquita<\/strong>, plan and provide all the meals for \"Staleys\"conferences, as well as S4H bookkeeping.<\/p>\n

Juanita Rivera<\/strong> provides assistance in the kitchen and in the houses.<\/p>\n

Debora Ramirez<\/strong>, S4H, administrator, is also our most professional translator. \u00a0We also \u00a0use translators from other ministries as well as Forrest.<\/p>\n

Dennis Ruano<\/strong> ( S4H pastor and dentist) along with his wife Chochy<\/strong> provide amazing worship in Spanish and English! \u00a0The senior pastor from Calvary Chapel Guatemala City, Francisco Reyes, and his worship team provide music\u00a0as well.<\/p>\n
