Palamá, Tecpan

Juan Moises and Celestina have been traveling to the village of Palamá, Tecpan to teach a womens’ Bible study for the past year. During the months of mid-Oct to mid-Jan when their two daughters, Jesús and Petrona, were out of school the two girls started teaching children in Palama while their parents were teaching the women. Jesús and Petrona went back to school in January when the school year started, leaving Juan and Celestina without teachers for the children.

Juan talked with his pastor, Obispo, about his need for two teachers to work with these children. The pastor’s two daughters are now working with these kids. These two girls are in the same Bible-school program that Juan is in, working on their high-school educations.

The women’s ministry in Palamá has grown to about 35 women; the children’s ministry has grown to 60. We serve an amazing God!
